Hampton Rovers are back at the Boss for the first time in a month this Saturday taking on Fitzroy. There’s also a big home game Lunch with Gareth Andrews guest speaker – reserve your spot now.
Prior to the week off, the Rovers had two away game, both at Albert Park – a disappointing loss to Old Melburnians and an outstanding win against Ajax, to make the season record 4-4. Fitzroy currently sit sixth on three wins and after a slow start to the season, are in good form having won their past two matches.
Prior to the main game, it’s the traditional Hampton Rovers Home Game Luncheon and this week we have Geelong and Richmond legend Gareth Andrews as our guest speaker who’ll talk about the charity he has established – The Life Again Foundation. A charity dedicated to educating men that it’s never too late to change and lead a more fulfilling and purposeful life.
Proudly sponsored by Bendigo Bank Sandringham, the cost of the luncheon is just $30 per head and includes a quality main meal, cheese & biscuits with drinks at bar prices. To book, please contact Gary Nash on gnash@jte.com.au or 0407 313 054.
We invite all supporters up to the club on Thursday evening for training and selection night. The bar is open from 6pm. Dinner is available for club members, have a read of the record and hear Saturday’s four teams.
Also this Saturday, the Thirds make the trip across the Westgate to face Williamstown CYMS at Fearon Reserve commencing at 11:40am.
While the Under 19s take on Old Xaverians at Stradbroke Park, Burke Road Kew, at 2:00pm.
