Hampton Rovers travel to the historic Junction Oval on Saturday to face Old Melburnians in a battle for fourth spot on the VAFA Premier B ladder.
Following six rounds of the 2015 season, the Rovers currently sit fifth at 3-3 while Melburnians are fourth at 4-2 and the difference in percentage is just 0.20% meaning the winner should find themselves in the top four come Saturday evening.
Hampton has played at the former VFL venue two times since 2008 – a semi-final loss against Ormond in 2008 and a loss to Old Melburnians in B section the following season. It’s fair to say the club is in better shape now however five forced changes from last week’s winning line-up due to travel and injury isn’t ideal.
It’s the most changes to the side thus far but the players coming into the line-up are sure to add quality and it promises to be a tight affair on Saturday.
The Seniors kick-off at 2:00pm and the Reserves 11:40am at Junction Oval, Lakeside Drive St Kilda.
LIVE SCORES of the main game (and all senior VAFA games) are available on the Hampton Rovers website and mobile site (click here) as well as updates all day on Twitter (@HRAFC) & Instagram (hamptonrovers). Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook too!
