Trevor Barker Oval has been confirmed as the venue for Saturday’s two Grand Finals with the Seniors facing Parkdale in the Premier C season decider and the U19s taking on Ormond.
The Sandringham ground has been a happy hunting ground for the Rovers – winning their past three matches at the venue including last year’s Grand Final over Ormond. The Seniors have also been training at the ground each week since the commencement of the finals series and had a run there on Saturday morning.
A huge crowd is expected to flock to Saturday’s match with the two district club’s having large supporter bases. The Rovers are encouraging everyone involved at the club to get along in green & gold to support the boys. Merchandise will be available for sale on Thursday evening for the final training session at Boss James Reserve.
The Seniors match will commence at 2:30pm.
The Under 19’s, who’ve won their past 11 matches, take on arch-rivals Ormond in the VAFA U19 South Grand Final also at Trevor Barker Oval commencing at 9:30am.
