Hampton Rovers wrap up the home and away season on Saturday with an away trip to face Old Camberwell at Gordon Barnard Reserve with a win vital to hold on to second position.
The two teams last met in round nine at home and it was Hampton by 26 points on that occasion. There are 11 changes to the side from that game and four this week.
Going into the final round of the season, the Rovers sit second on the Premier C ladder on 52 points, one win behind ladder-leaders Marcellin and one win ahead of third-placed Monash Blues who face Oakleigh away, while Parkdale Vultures complete the top four. A win will ensure a top-two finish meaning the double-chance and a shot at Marcellin for a Grand Final berth and promotion to Premier B.
All supporters are encouraged to make the trip to Gordon Barnard Reserve (Carrington St – cnr Belmore/Balwyn Rds, North Balwyn – view map) and get being the boys as they surge towards the finals. Reserves at 11:40am and Seniors 2:00pm.
If you can’t make it to the game, you can keep up-to-date with the live scores here and on the mobile site (m.hamptonrovers.com.au), updates & photos on Twitter (@HRAFC) and photos on Instagram (hamptonrovers).
At Boss James Reserve, the Thirds and Under 19s are in action. First up at 11:40am, the Rovers Thirds play their final game of the season when they face St Marys Salesian. Following that is the red-hot Under 19s who’ve won their past eight matches to surge into the finals. They take on ladder-leaders Oakleigh at 2:00pm in what will be a cracking game.

Following the day’s action, we welcome everyone back to Boss James Reserve. Entry is $10 and includes pizza with drinks at bar prices. All funds go to the Roverians which go back into the club. We welcome everyone along including all players, members, family and supporters.
