Seniors

Vale David Kinsey

The Hampton Rovers Football Club recently lost a Life Member and member of the 1951 A Section Premiership team.

David Kinsey played for the club from 1946 until 1955 and featured in the club’s only senior A Section flag in 1951. He was remembered as a dashing half-back flanker and played 185 games for the Rovers.

Following his days playing football at the club, he continued his involvement as reserves umpire for many years.

His contribution on and off the field was recognised with Life Membership of the club.

The Hampton Rovers seniors wore black armbands in respect for David on Saturday.

The club sends its condolences to the Kinsey family.
