Hampton hosts Banyule

The Hampton Rovers are at home on Saturday, hosting Banyule in round eight of the VAFA season.

The Roves are coming off a great win over Oakleigh and will be looking to make it consecutive victories against the bottom side in Premier C section and go into the break with a 5-3 record.

It’s a triple-header with the Under 19’s taking on Ormond at 9:20am at Boss James Reserve. The Reserves will follow at 11:40am and the main game is on at 2:00pm.

Live scores will be available on the Hampton Rovers website and mobile site with updates and photos on Twitter (@HRAFC) and Instagram (hamptonrovers).

Get along early to watch the Reserves as club legend Steve Anderson will run out for his 300th VAFA game for the club. (read more)

Hampton Roves Auskick participants will be playing in front of the crowd at half time of the seniors. This is the first of five games for the season.

Bookings are being taken for the pre-game President’s Luncheon. As usual the food has been sensational in 2014 and attendances have been strong. We send a special invitation out to those who haven’t had a chance to get along to one this year. It’s just $30 per head (payment made on arrival) and a great way to enjoy the day. Reserve your spot by contacting Gary Nash on gnash@jte.com.au or 0407 313 054.

Club Memberships are available and cover the cost of the lunch (purchase a Bronze Membership for $125 and receive entry to five of the remaining six home game luncheons – click here for info and to purchase online).

Also on Saturday, the Thirds take on PEGS away at the PEGS Playing Fields in Keilor Park commencing at 11:40am.

We welcome everyone to the club following the seniors game where the bar will be open (from approximately 4:30pm) with match awards at 5:30pm.
