The club hosts its biggest home game of the season this Saturday and the biggest President’s Luncheon of the year as we host Ormond in the Grand Final Replay. Bookings are essential and we encourage everyone to get along.
The Rovers will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the 2014 season but a local derby is never easy and arch-rivals Ormond will be looking to reverse last year’s Grand Final result and in the process reclaim the Buxton Cup.
A big crowd is expected both for the game and in the rooms prior for the second home game luncheon of the year. We welcome everyone from the wider Hampton Rovers community and Ormond also.
Being the day after Anzac Day, members from the Hampton RSL will be in attendance and a short ceremony will be held prior to the main game to honour the sacrifice made by Australians in conflicts around the world.
The club has new caterers in 2014 and after serving up an absolute treat in round one, they are producing their signature dish this Saturday and it’s not to be missed.
The cost is just $30 for the lunch, or even better you can purchase a 2014 Hampton Rovers Club Membership and have the cost of the lunch included in that.
