2014 Season Launched

The 2014 Hampton Rovers season was launched in style on Friday evening with over 100 people in attendance at Spirit Station Pier in Port Melbourne.

It was a great way to kick-start the year on the eve on what promises to be another exciting season for the club. The Rovers open their 2014 campaign at home against Parkdale Vultures on Saturday.

Those in attendance heard from President Matthew Gray, senior coach Guy Martyn and vice-captain Daniel Corp. All three were optimistic about the year ahead and are looking forward to another positive year for the club both on and off field.

An exciting new partnership was announced with the Sandringham Football Club which will see both clubs strengthen ties with each other in various ways. Further details will be announced on the website during the week.

Photos from the evening will be available on the Rovers website and Facebook during the week.

With pre-season now officially wrapped up, the attention turns to round one. The 2013 premiership flag will be unveiled prior to the big clash at Boss James Reserve.

It also marks the first luncheon for the year and we expect a big attendance. At $30 per head, it’s a great way to start the day and support the club. Click here for details and to reserve your spot.

Keep an eye on the Rovers website during the week as we count down to Saturday.
