Seniors

Rovers away v Old Geelong

The Rovers travel to Como Park on Saturday to face Old Geelong in round 15 of the VAFA season. Both the U19s and Thirds who play their final game of the season are at Boss James Reserve.

Hampton recorded a strong victory back in round nine at the Boss but Saturday’s match will be a different proposition at Como Park. As seems to be a weekly occurrence, the Rovers go in with a number of changes – this week it’s five, mostly forced due to injury. Josh Pavlou and Dave Morton come in for their first game in the seniors.

It’s a big game for the Reserves, with Old Geelong currently on top of the ladder. The Rovers, currently third, can leapfrog them and sure up the double chance should they win.

Get along and show your support. The Seniors commence at 2:00pm with the Reserves at 11:40am. Como Park is located on Alexandra Ave in South Yarra (view map). Please note parking is difficult – please see below for more details.

Live Scores of the main game will be available on the Rovers website here or via our mobile site at m.hamptonrovers.com.au. You can also access the scores and additional updates via Twitter (@HRAFC) and photos on Instagram (hamptonrovers).

Back at Boss James Reserve, the Thirds open proceedings in their final game of the 2013 season when they take on Therry Penola commencing at 11:40am. The Under 19s follow at 2:00pm when they host local rivals Beaumaris.

Como Park parking
There is no parking within Como Park. General parking close to the ground is available in Bruce Street, and also in Como Avenue which leads off Toorak Road. Parking inspectors are often in the area so be careful where you park.
