The committee of the Hampton Rovers Football Club are saddened to hear of the passing of Life Member John Maurie Kelly.
John was a long time follower of the club with his five sons all playing for the Rovers. During that time, Maurie assisted in a number of roles including trainer.
Many would remember the Pleasant Sunday Mornings held at his place in Batemen St for the club as well as his spit roasts for functions.
The club extends our deepest sympathy to the Kelly family.
