Seniors

Rovers away v PEGS

The Rovers are back in action this weekend following the break last week for the Queen’s Birthday long weekend when they travel to Essendon to take on PEGS. The U19s play De La at home.

Hampton goes into the Round 8 clash without a win on the board in 2012 but will be looking to put in an improved performance. Since the teams last met (B Section 2010), they have a new name (from Old Essendon to PEGS) and a new ground (now at Essendon Grammar Playing FieldsWright Rd, Keilor Park, Melways 15 A5).

The Seniors have now blooded a staggering 47 players so far in 2012, which includes 22 players who’ve made their senior debut.

Get along and show your support for the Rovers. The Reserves kick-off at 11:40am with the Seniors at 2:00pm. Live scores will be available here and live updates on Rovers Twitter.

Following the game, players and supporters are welcome back to The Sandringham Hotel.

The Under 19s take on De La Salle at Boss James Reserve commencing at 2:00pm.
