Hampton Rovers host their first home game of 2012 this Saturday and a special Luncheon is being held to mark the official opening of the re-surfaced ground. Book your seat early to secure your spot!
Work has been underway at Boss James Reserve since November 2011 and the $800,000 project is nearing completion with the official opening of the magnificent new playing surface this Saturday when the Hampton Rovers host Old Camberwell in Round 4 of the 2012 VAFA season.
The project is being completed this week with the completion of the new fence, new coaches boxes and new goal posts. In a separate project being undertaken be the club, new terracing will be constructed in front of the club rooms. Unfortunately this wont be completed in time for the opening home game but we hope to have these works complete before the end of the month.
A number of special guests have been invited to the official opening luncheon and we also wish to extend an invitation to the entire Hampton Rovers community including senior and junior parents & family, past & present players, members and supporters.
The Luncheon will commence at 12 midday and run until the start of the Seniors game at 2pm. The cost is just $30 and includes a quality main course meal, cheese & biscuits as well as one complementary standard drink with additional drinks available at bar prices.
