The 2012 VAFA season is upon us with Senior Jumper Presentation Night to be held this Thursday evening at Boss James Reserve. The club welcomes all players, family and supporters along to help kick-start the season.
With the resurfacing of Boss James Reserve, training is currently being held at Castlefield Reserve, Ludstone Street. Supporters are welcome along there to watch the final training session prior to Round 1, commencing at 6pm.
Back at Boss James Reserve, the Bar will be opening at 7:30pm and all players, family and supporters are welcome along for the Senior Jumper Presentation Night. There will also be dinner available.
Senior, Reserve & Under 19 players will be presented with their jumpers, new players introduced, captains announced, words from the coaches as well as a former Rovers captain. Hear the teams announced for Round 1 of the 2012 VAFA season.
On Saturday, the Seniors and Reserves open their season against Rupertswood at Sunbury while the Under 19s take on Beaumaris away at Banksia Reserve (11:40am). All three Hampton Rovers teams play away from home for the opening three rounds before a big triple-header on Saturday 12th May to re-open Boss James Reserve.
