The inaugural Hampton Rovers Family day was held last weekend and was a great success for both the club and the community.
It was great to see so many families participate in the day with all the rides full and kids having a great time together. The addition of local dance troupes added to the day and also provided these talented girls and boys with the ability to show off their skills in front of a large captive audience. Its important to know that while this day was provided by the Hampton Rovers Football Club, our aim is to be inclusive ensuring all sports are showcased so our kids understand participation is the best outcome for everyone involved.
The club would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people that helped put this major event together. The Hampton Rovers Football Club has a passionate group of parents that are all single minded in their wish to provide a positive experience for all the boys and girls that participate in sport throughout the Bayside area. Its therefore important that days like this continue and grow as the funds are directed straight back into the development of this participation.
A special thanks to Lisa Styring who was the driving force behind this event and did a great job managing it.
