Hampton Rovers take on the in-form Old Brighton Grammarians on Saturday in a big local derby at Boss James Reserve. Its a big day with the U19s opening proceedings in a triple-header at the Boss. Book your spot in now for the Presidents Luncheon.
The Rovers showed a much improved performance against Old Ivanhoe before the VAFA representative week-off and an inclusion or two may see that improvement continue against an Old Brighton side that has won six on the trot.
As mentioned itll be a bumper day at the Boss with three sides in action (for our Auskick readers this weeks session will be held Friday evening). The Under 19s will kick it off at 9:20am taking on Marcellin, followed by the Reserves at 11:40am and Seniors at 2:00pm taking on local rivals Old Brighton Grammarians.
The third-last pre-game Presidents Luncheon of the year kicks-off at 12:30pm with the bar open from 12 midday. This week were pleased to have Australian Paralympic Basketball gold medallist Dylan Alcott as guest speaker. Dylan won gold at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics as a 17 year-old and remains a vital part of the team. Hes won a host of other awards and is sure to be great to listen to this Saturday.
