Rd10: Rovers @ St Kevins

The Hampton Rovers are on the road again this week, taking on second-placed St Kevins at T.H. King Oval in Glen Iris.

Skobs are the only team the Rovers have extracted any points out of in 2011 when the two teams drew in Round One at Boss James Reserve. Since then, St Kevins have won five of their eight games while the Rovers have slumped to eight losses.

By all reports the T.H. King Oval is extremely heavy underfoot with plenty of mud on the deck, which should make for an interesting game.

The Rovers need your support – get along and show yours as they battle hard to notch their first win of the year. The Reserves get underway at 11:40am with the Seniors at 2pm. The ground is located on the corner of High Street and the Monash Freeway (view map).

Live Scores will be available via Hampton Rovers Twitter: @HRAFC

Also on Saturday the Under 19’s take on Old Ivanhoe at Chelsworth Park in their first game in Under 19 Section 3 following the mid-season competition re-structure. The Thirds have a bye meaning there is no game at Boss James Reserve this weekend.
