The Hampton Rovers take on local rivals Old Brighton in a much anticipated VAFA Premier B clash this Saturday at Brighton Beach Oval.
Its the first time the two sides have met since 2003 with the Tonners relegated from A Section last season. On the last occasion the two sides did meet, it was the Brighton side getting up by a solitary point.
The Rovers have had a tough start to their 2011 campaign with multiple injuries, suspensions and unavailabilitys hindering their progress and only a draw in Round 1 to show for their efforts. Theres no doubt the boys are pumped for this Round 7 clash and theyll throw everything theyve got against Old Brighton on Saturday.
Your support is needed though so make sure you get along to Brighton Beach Oval (corner South Road and Beach Road) and get behind the Rovers as they look to get their first win on the board. The Seniors get underway at 2pm with the Reserves at 11:40am.
