The goal posts went up during the week and footy returns to Boss James Reserve on Saturday when the Rovers host St Pauls in a practice game with three teams in action.
It will be the Rovers third practice game in the lead-up to the 2011 season and the first time weve hosted one at Boss James Reserve in quite a while with the drought preventing pre-season games in previous years.
The Under 19s will commence proceedings at 10am, followed by the Reserves/Thirds at 12pm midday and the Seniors will kick-off at 2:00pm. The Rovers will see the return of a few players however some will also be missing from last weeks game. It promises to be another good tune-up for the boys as the new season fast approaches.
The Canteen will be open while the Hampton Cricket Club will have their Bar open from about 1pm until after the game. Please note their liquor license prevents alcohol from being consumed outdoors therefore drinking is strictly in the social rooms only.
The club encourages all supporters along this Saturday. Auskick Registration Day will also be taking place from 11:30am so expect a bit of traffic.
