The Hampton Rovers are on the road this Saturday in Round 13 of the VAFA facing St Bernards in a vital clash at Essendon.
Earlier in the year it was the Rovers getting up by 33 points. They currently sit one win ahead of the Rovers and a slightly superior percentage of 3%. The Bernies are a tough team to defeat at the Snakepit and it will take a great team performance by the Rovers to get the points, but theyve shown on more than one occasion this year they can match it with anyone.
The Rovers will take a mainly unchanged team into the clash following last weekends win over Old Essendon with just a couple of inclusions.
Entrance to St Bernards College is via Gate 8 on the ironically named Hampton Road in West Essendon. (Drive down the hill and its the oval on the left) Melways reference: 27 J3. See a map here.
The seniors get underway at 2:00pm with the Reserves at 11:40am. Get along and show your support. Live Scores will be available by following @HRAFC on Twitter.
Back at Boss James Reserve, Adam Power plays his 200th VAFA game in the Thirds vs Mazenod at 11:40am, followed by the Under 19s vs arch rivals Ajax at 2pm.
The Bar will be open following the game with all supporters welcome back to the club.
