Hampton Rovers AFC Pre-Season Training got back underway on Monday evening with over 60 players on the track. All new players are welcome as we build towards what promises to be an exciting 2010 season in B Section.
An air of excitement surrounds the club and senior playing group under the leadership of new senior coach Matt Robbins. The Rovers had a solid pre-Christmas campaign with excellent numbers in attendance throughout and following a decent break over summer, all the boys are raring to go. The numbers first up were outstanding with the bulk of the senior playing group and plenty of reserve, thirds & under 19 players as well as a number of new and returning faces.
The club is working hard on the recruitment front and all new players are welcome to get involved in pre-season training and join the Rovers in 2010. With four senior teams, the club is open to players of all abilities and fitness levels.
Training will continue each Monday, Wednesday & Friday meet 6pm at Boss James Reserve venues will vary. The club has been granted permission to train on Boss James Reserve as of March so its anticipated well revert to Tuesdays & Thursdays as of the 2nd of March, training on our home ground.
