As part of the recent initiative by AFL Victoria to continue the expansion of the AFL Youth Girls Competition, Hampton Rovers Amateur Football Club is actively evaluating the possible creation of a Youth Girls team in the Bayside area.
The vision of AFL Victoria is that in 10 years, a quality national elite womens Australian football competition will exist. AFL Victoria is planning to expand the existing Youth Girls competition to 48 teams in 2010.
As part of its ongoing commitment to being Baysides Traditional Family Club, Hampton Rovers is seeking expressions of interest from girls in the region for the formation of a team as part the Hampton Rovers Amateur Football Club.
