The new Football Vice-President for the Hampton Rovers Football Club Juniors, Brett Yorgey, has initiated a program to enhance the already high level of coaching provided by the Junior coaches within the club.
Anton Grbac (Essendon) and Leon Harris (Fitzroy) both played in the AFL. They are the current AFL High Performance Coaching Managers and have been involved in junior football for many years. With links to football at all levels, Anton and Leon will play an active part in the coaching inductions being undertaken at Hampton Rovers this year.
Hampton Rovers have also begun to forge new links with the Sandringham Football Club, part of the historic VFL competition and aligned to the St. Kilda Football Club. Sandringham will be involved at a number of levels in the coaching team for 2010, including encouraging joint training sessions with Hampton Rovers.
Look out for more information as these new alliances develop to the benefit of the kids at Hampton Rovers Amateur Football Club in 2010 and beyond.
