Leigh Fletcher was runner-up in the 2009 VAFA B Section Best & Fairest vote count held Monday evening at Etihad Stadium.
It was a great effort by Leigh, who finished on 18 votes, 2 votes behind the winner – Brendan Iezzi from Old Trinity. Even more remarkable is the fact Old Trinity had a great year finishing in the finals and playing in the season decider this Saturday, while the Rovers finished down the ladder.
Over 400 people attended the VAFA Presentation Night at Etihad Stadium. Below are all the Rovers votes handed out by umpires in 2009 as well as the top 10 in B Section.
