Pre-Season Training gets back underway

Despite sweltering 40 degree-plus conditions, Pre-Season training got back underway Wednesday evening with over 30 in attendance. Training will continue Monday’s and Wednesday’s 6pm at Boss James Reserve. Existing and new players welcome.

Following a solid pre-Christmas campaign and a good break, Pre-Season Training re-commences this Wednesday 28th January 6pm at Boss James Reserve. Existing and new players welcome.

Numbers have been strong throughout the campaign which started with 11 sessions prior to the Christmas and New Years break and there has been a good positive feeling among the group as the club prepares for VAFA B Section in 2009.

Pre-Season Training will continue Monday’s and Wednesday’s until the Cricket season finishes when we?ll switch to Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Meet at Boss James Reserve at 6pm unless otherwise advised.

All existing players as well as new players are welcome down for a run. Doing the hard yards now will help you immensely throughout the 2009 season in the very good standard of VAFA B Section.

The first practice game will be against EFL Div 2 club Donvale at the Mentone Grammar Playing Fields, Keysborough with the 2009 VAFA season commences with a home game on Saturday 18th April against University Blacks.
