The Hampton Rovers have received great media exposure around the big Rivalry Round clash on Saturday with a story on Channel 7 News Saturday evening and an article in the Herald Sun the same day.
The Rovers were the feature of the ?Community Football? story which ran second on the sports segment with footage of the game and interviews of Mick Malthouse and David Parkin prior to the game. The video can now be viewed online: HRTV.
Also on Saturday, page 80 of the Herald Sun featured the article ?Keeping flags flying? focusing on Athol Porters contribution to the club. In addition to this, the Rovers also had their usual coverage in the Bayside Leader with a match report of last weeks win over Parkdale and a big preview of the Rivalry Round game against Ormond, including a photo of the two captains.
