Hampton Rovers AFC will wear a special one-off Heritage Jumper for the Round 5 VAFA Rivalry Round as part of the 150 Years of Australian Football celebrations. The Rovers take on Ormond at Boss James Reserve.
The game is set to be one of the biggest at the Hampton ground in many years and with no AFL matches scheduled for the weekend, promoted as Community Football Weekend by the AFL, a huge crowd is expected to descend on Boss James Reserve.
The Rovers are getting right into the spirit of the 150th year celebrations by releasing a special one-off Heritage Jumper. The jumper will be worn by the senior team on the day and will never make another appearance for an official VAFA game.
The club is giving supporters the opportunity to purchase this collectors item for just $40.00 per jumper. The first batch of orders have been taken and supporters will be available Round 5. Supporters will have one final chance to place an order in the week following Round 5.
