Carr wins 3rd Rovers Best and Fairest

Gary Carr has taken out his third Hampton Rovers Best & Fairest at Sunday’s Senior Vote Count. Carr was a runaway winner on 134 votes followed by Anton Duddy on 86 and Leigh Fletcher on 75.

Gary polled in 15 of 21 games and was best on ground for the Rovers in 4 games. After first playing for the Rovers in 1998 and amassing 153 club games, he has previously been best & fairest for the seniors in 2004 and 2006.

Lachlan Wheeler won his second Reserves Best and Fairest for the club, totalling 93 votes. Followed by Ben Theodore on 70 and Lee Smith on 67.

The Under 19’s was a tie between Thom McCarthy and Michael Stowe.
