Carr wins second Rovers B&F

Gary Carr won his second Hampton Rovers Best & Fairest at the 2006 Vote Count on Sunday. Gary was a runaway winner on 114 votes followed by Anthony Browne on 72 votes and Sam Parkinson on 70 votes. David Anderson won the Reserves while Nick Lyall came first in the U19’s.

 

Gary had an outstanding year for the Rovers picking up votes in 14 games including two best on grounds for the green ?n gold’s. The 2006 winner first played for the Rovers in 1998 and has played 132 games for the club including 107 senior games, reaching his 100 VAFA games milestone this year. He previously won the best & fairest award in 2004.
