The Hampton Rovers have announced their pre-season games in the lead-up to the 2006 VAFA season with the three senior sides set to take on two local rivals as well as Old Camberwell, all of which will be strong opposition and great preparation for the new season.

 

The Rovers will first face up against Beaumaris, who have been promoted to B Grade after making the Grand Final, on the 25^th of March.

 

Up next for the Green & Gold’s will be Old Camberwell on the first day of April.

 

Finally, Hampton take on promoted local rival, Ormond, who lost the 2005 D1 Section Grand Final, on the 8^th of April.

 

At this stage, all three games will take place at Hampton Rovers home ground, Boss James Reserve, however this will be confirmed closer to the date.

 

All three sides will provide the Rovers will valuable match practice in what is set to be a big year for the Rovers Football Club.
