The Hampton Rovers Reserves easily defeated It has been a long time between drinks for the Reserves with the last Premiership coming 20 years ago. After two average seasons in B Section, the Super-2s went through 2004 losing on just three occasions and finishing the year two games clear on top of the ladder. The team was treated to a suburb pre-game speech by Mick Malthouse. His words got the blood pumping and the Rovers fired early kicking away to a handy lead in the wet conditions.
