What a day!!! Thanks to all those who attended last Saturdays pre-game luncheon at Boss James Reserve.
The Ormond supporter group boosted numbers to a just manageable 100 and a special thanks must go to our caterers and organisers.
If you didn’t attend then you missed a really great day of conviviality as all Rover supporters could sense a “win” was on the cards.
Maitre d’ “Ricardo” Prideaux and renowned Head Chef “Hughie” Hamilton when interviewed after the hectic event have advised that bookings are now essential for the remaining 2 home games against Old Essendon on 10th August and Old Melburnians on 24th August.
Please note that Le Roverre Restaurant was recently awarded a 5 Star rating by critical gastronomes Sir “Frederick” Green and Baron “Slim” Grimmer. It also offers an extensive and affordable wine assortment, all grown, bottled and flogged by our in-house vinter Mr John Hubbard —– respected wine Tasters and Connoisseurs Don Scarlett and Milton Beattie agreed that after 4 or 5 glasses of the silky smooth Shiraz “you couldn’t help but think you were drinking a 20 year old Grange Hermitage”.
