No Thirds team for 2012
The Hampton Rovers regret to announce the club will not be fielding a Third XVIII side in 2012. While every effort was made to field one, a lack of numbers forced the decision upon us after three years in the VAFA Club XVIII competition.
It is hoped the club will be able to once again field a Thirds side in 2013.
The club encourages remaining Thirds players to remain at the club to play Reserves/Senior football, assist with other teams or simply support the club as many have continued to do.
We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the team over the past three seasons including the coaches Glenn Roulent & Michael Flahive, the many helpers with a special mention to the late Denis Pilkington, and of course the huge number of players who pulled on the green n gold jumper.
