The Rovers will celebrate the achievements of Anton Duddy, Gerrard Woods, Adam Power and David Anderson on reaching 200 VAFA games at the Past & Present Players Night, hosted by Ronnie Burns on the 7th of August at the club.
It promises to be a big night and all past Rovers players are welcome along as well as current players, members, family and supporters. Bookings are essential and you must RSVP by 4th August full details by clicking here.
The evening will be hosted by the entertaining Ronnie Burns the ex-AFL star who played 154 games with Geelong and Adelaide, recently played in the EJ Whitten Legends Game and is a weekly panellist on the Marngrook Footy Show.
The function will be fully catered with our famous chefs, whove made the Hampton Rovers luncheons the best in the Amateurs, serving up a gourmet meal on the night. Drinks will be available at bar prices.
As well as providing the opportunity for past players to cross paths, much of the attention on the night will be focussed on the four players that have reached the outstanding achievement of 200 VAFA games with the Hampton Rovers AFC this year. Anton Duddy, Gerrard Woods, Adam Power and David Anderson have all been great servants of the club and a night for these players is most deserved. Each player will be roasted up on the stage and will go through their great careers.
The night is being held at the Hampton Rovers Football Club Boss James Reserve, David St Hampton. Tickets are just $30 per head and everyone is welcome. Itll get underway at 7:30pm following the Old Haileybury away game and will run til late.
