Freddy’s Certificate of Merit

Congratulations to Tony ?Freddy? Naumoff who was recently awarded a VAFA Certificate of Merit for his outstanding contribution to the Hampton Rovers AFC.

 

Tony started at the Rovers as a player in 1976 and played 158 games. In 1985 he was appointed Reserves Captain/Coach and in 1988 and 1989 took on the role of Under 19 Coach. Tony then took a well earned break from official capacities at the club but returned to take up the position of Assistant Coach to the Senior Team.

 

Tony has held coaching positions at the club for the last 11 years from Under 17’s through to Seniors. Tony has been either Coach or Assistant Coach of four premiership teams including the 2004 Reserves Premiership side. To the end of 2005, Tony has coached a total of over 220 games for the Rovers over a period of 20 years.

 

Tony is a Life Member of the Hampton Rovers AFC and a deserved recipient of a VAFA Certificate of Merit.
