The Hard-Slog Continues: 2006 Pre-Season Training

Pre-Season Training continues in preparation for the 2006 VAFA season with numbers growing each week. Training is currently being held each Monday and Wednesday at Boss James Reserve, however some sessions are also being held at Dendy Park and Trey Bit Reserve in Sandringham.

2005 captain Anthony Browne is happy with the progress being made so far. Training sessions have had good variety and intensity. Numbers have been good and several players have also been attending optional sessions held Friday night’s or Saturday morning’s. It’s great to see a number of Under 17’s from last year and this years Under 19’s getting involved and working hard. Anthony is encouraging everyone at the club to get as many people as possible to training.

If you, or someone you know, is interested in playing for the Rovers in 2006, please feel free to attend any pre-season training session or email the club for further details. All players welcome! The highlight of the pre-season campaign will be the training camp taking place at Rosebud commencing Saturday 18th March. For full details, click here.
