Former Old Xaverians Premiership Coach and Melbourne Cricket Club 1st XI Captain/Coach Michael Sholly has been appointed as the VAFAs new Chief Executive Officer.
Michael brings to the job extensive experience in managing people both from an educational, administrative and sporting perspective.
One of Michaels areas of focus will be on marketing the VAFA and finding compatible corporate partners, resulting in significant growth in the sponsorship area.
The areas of strategic planning, information technology and promotion of the Association through the media will be also be high on his agenda, as he leads the VAFA into a new era.
