Carr tops Best & Fairest

Gary Carr has topped off a great year by winning the 2004 Hampton Rovers Senior Best & Fairest award at Sunday’s Vote Count.

2004 has seen Gary playing his best footy for the Rovers. His dominance on the field handed him a spot in the VAFA Under-23 State Representative Team.

Gary finished the season with 73 votes, 12 more than 2nd-placed Gerrard Woods, followed by Mark Devereaux in 3rd on 57 votes.

Gary, along with all the other award winners, will be presented with their awards at this Saturday’s Senior Presentation Night at Boss James Reserve. Click Here for details.

In the Reserves, Matt Terech lead the way all year, however was overtaken by Anton Duddy in the Grand Final who won by 1 vote on 56. Terech finished 2nd on 55 and Alan Brudar 3rd with 51.
