Administering a football club the size of the Hampton Rovers requires the input of many hard-working volunteers both on and off the field. And at the Hampton Rovers we are fortunate to have so many dedicated people to provide this level of support. In turn, this makes the club what it is today, ie, one of the premier sporting organisations in the Bayside municipality. As season 2004 nears its conclusion, the planning has already started for 2005, and an important element of this process is the formulation of the new Senior and Junior Committees for the season ahead. Several people who served on the 2004 Senior and Junior Committees will not be standing again for 2005. In light of this we are looking for people to step up and become involved in the administration of this proud, successful and long-standing club. Ideally, the committees should comprise a mix of young and experienced persons so that all stakeholders of the club are well represented – two committees that are YOUR committees. And this is what we are seeking in 2005. Its very rewarding, does not require a huge time commitment, and you?ll be part of the team that helps drive the Rovers back to B Grade – for the Seniors – and to ensure we remain one of the premier clubs in the MSJFL – Juniors.
