The Under 17s were defeated by 13 points in Sundays MSJFL U17 Div 2 Grand Final at Bentleigh Reserve. With the match being played at Bentleighs regular home ground, it was always going to be a tough task. However the Rovers put up a great fight but were unable to match Bentleigh who went on to win by 13 points. Final scores: It has been a great turnaround for the Under 17s who started the 2004 season slowly. The side managed to win its last three games of the season, defeating the three top teams, to sneak into 4th position and clinch a finals position. They won their next two to take a six game winning streak into the Grand Final.
