The Japanese Australian Rules National team is presently touring Asia/Australia with great success.
With wins over Singapore by 10 goals, Howlong FC (NSW) by 13 goals and Box Hill North by 7 goals, the Samurais are displaying how far they have advanced Aussie Rules in Japan.
With Troy Beard at the helm, his coaching staff and commitment from his exciting young team are on track to be a force in the upcoming AFL International Cup commencing on August 05.
The Hampton Rovers is exploring opportunities to extend its International Exchange program. Players/supporters are always welcome and talks are continuing to include the Rovers as a host for next years Cup.
The Samurais remaining games are against the Melb/Viet FC, Ocean Grove and final game against the New Zealand National side at Optus Oval on Sat 21 st as a curtain raiser before Carlton/Melbourne.
