Donate Blood and you could help win the Rovers a curtain raiser match at the MCG! Hampton Rovers AFC has always taken part in the VAFA Blood Challenge, now in 2004, Football Victoria and TXU are giving all Victorian clubs an extra incentive – a match at the MCG.

 

Simply donate blood between the 31^st of May and the 21^st of July 2004. Get all your friends and family to donate as well! The challenge aims to generate 1000 additional donations within Victoria, to help support our hospitals during winter.

 

If the Hampton Rovers AFC donates the most blood of any club, the club will play a curtain raiser match at the MCG prior to the Round 18 AFL clash between Melbourne and Hawthorn (Sunday 1^st August 2004). The club will also win a $5000 food, beverage and sports pack which we can put towards a club function. There is also a $2500 sports pack for the club which recruits the most new donors.

– Friday June 18^th – Sandringham Masonic Hall, 23 Abbott St: 9:15am – 3:30pm.

– Anytime – Blood Bank, South Melbourne, cnr Kavanagh & Balston St: 8:15am – 7:30pm.
