TXU Victorian Football Blood Challenge

The TXU Victorian Football Blood Challenge is a competition amongst Metropolitan (AFL, VFL and TAC Clubs are ineligible) and Country community football clubs as to who can donate the most blood. Running between 31 May and 21 July 2004, the challenge aims to generate 1000 additional donations within Victoria, to help support our hospitals on the lead up to winter.

The Club that generates the most donations at the end of the competition will win the once in a lifetime opportunity to play a curtain raiser match at the MCG on the 1 August 2004. In addition to this, the winning club will also receive a $5000 food, beverage and sports pack which they can put toward a local Club function.

A New Donor Prize will also be awarded to the Club that generates the most new donors during the competition. The winner of the New Donor Prize will receive a sports pack valued at $2500.

Players, coaches, members, supporters, family, friends and colleagues may all donate on behalf of the Hampton Rovers AFC. To register your donation towards the Rovers, simply complete the entry form at any Victorian Blood Collection Centre at the conclusion of your donation.

So get behind the Hampton Rovers AFC and this great cause – donate blood!
