First thing I would like to say is a thank you to the club for giving me a chance to coach the Rovers for the last thee years. It has been a very enjoyable time.
I must say that I am disappointed that we are going back to ?C? Section but I am certain that the players are at the club to move forward again.
The season was a disappointment to the extent that we could not get the right players on the field at the same time.
To be a success in amateur football you must have 100% commitment from the players. Unfortunately as a group, I do not believe we achieved that this season.
I would like to thank Greg Downes and his committee for the 100% support they have given me at all times.
My coaching colleagues, Tony Naumoff, David Holt, Wayne Stafford, David Rogerson and Peter Blick are a loyal and knowledgeable group who have been great fun to work with, both on and off the field.
A special thanks to Chief and Browney for their leadership and their 100% effort at training, game day and off field leadership.
I would like to congratulate all our trophy winners, especially Denver Artz for his club championship.
The future of the club is bright. Our Under 19 side contains several players who, with a good pre-season behind them, will become senior players.
The senior core group of players are as good as any in B Section but we have to develp depth to give them a hand.
In closing, I would like to say any help or assistance that the club may require, I am only happy to do.
