Goss stands down as Senior Coach

Hampton Rovers AFC is hunting for a senior coach following the departure of Norm Goss.

The former South Melbourne and Hawthorn star has stood down after a three-year stint that began with the C section flag in 2001.

The club has formed a sub-committee to select his replacement and wants the new man locked in by the end of October.

President Greg Downes said the Rovers had been fortunate to have Goss making the moves.

?Norm made an important and invaluable contribution to Hampton Rovers and the club certainly appreciates all his efforts’ he said.

?I?m pleased to say that Norm will still be involved at the Rovers as his son Nick is in the reserves and his partner’s son Danny is a very good Under 17 player.?
