On Saturday in the last game of the year, the Rovers were defeated by De La Salle to the tune of 9 goals to slide without a win in their last 9 games into C section for 2004.
For senior coach Norm Goss and his playing brigade, it was the same story which has characterised their whole season, lacking class and running players to give any serious challenge to the talented De La Old Boys.

Although match performances for the 2003 season have been disappointing the Club remains strong with the bonding of our senior players, the continuing success of our junior sides, having the best facilities in the league, the unrelenting drive by the Board and Committee to make the club even stronger and the obvious continuation of the strong supporter base.
Season 2004 in C grade will give us the opportunity to strongly regroup and aim for no less than a senior premiership and our rightful return to B grade, of course the ultimate aim must be A grade within a few years. This objective is definitely possible and we must all believe and assist towards its conclusion.

The Rovers Reserves again struggling for numbers were well beaten while the Under 19’s going down to Mazenod by 8 to finish off a disastrous second half of the season.
