The Rovers take on Melbourne High School Old Boys in their first game of the 2003 VAFA season at Boss James Reserve on Saturday. After being relegated from A section, Melbourne High will be keen to get an early win on the board and stamp their authority on B grade, while the Rovers will come out firing after winning all their pre-season matches. The match kicks-off at 2:00pm while the reserves commence at 11:40am.
All members and friends are invited to the first luncheon for 2003. Club President, Greg Downes, will be unveiling a Life Members honour board and all life members are invited. Bookings are essential. Arrive at 12:00 for a 12:30 start. Cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
