The Rovers had their first hit out of the year playing a practice match against Old Haileyburians at Keysborough. The Rovers outscored their opposition in the 2nd half but in the end went down by 13 points. Final scores: Hampton Rovers 11.8.74 defeated by Old Haileyburians 13.9.87. The combined Reserves and Under 19’s team won their match prior to the Seniors.
