Hampton Rovers face SFL division 1 side Mordialloc this Saturday at Ben Kavanagh Reserve in the final practice matches before the 2015 VAFA season kicks-off.
There will be three games with the Under 19s taking on Beaumaris at 10:00am, followed by the Reserves/Thirds v Mordialloc at 12 midday and the Seniors v Mordialloc at 2:00pm.
The Seniors have recorded strong victories over Ormond and Albion over the past two weeks and have had the luxury of having key senior players in action which is unusual compared to previous years due to cricket commitments. However there will be a few missing this weekend for the final practice hit-out including the likes of Fletcher, Devereaux and Turner.
The club has enjoyed a healthy relationship with the Mordialloc Football Club playing practice matches against the Bloods for the past two years and we look forward to another quality contest this Saturday. We encourage supporters to come down to Ben Kavanagh Reserve (McDonald Street, Mordialloc – view map) and see how the Rovers are shaping up ahead of the 2015 VAFA Premier B season.
