The Hampton Rovers Football Club is seeking applications for the role of Senior Men’s Coach for the 2026 season.
The Rovers are a proud community football club, affiliated with the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA), with a celebrated history dating back to 1929. Season 2026 will see the club again field five teams in the VAFA – Senior Men’s and Women’s, Reserves, Thirds/Development Team and Under 19’s. The club has a strong pathway fielding more than 30 junior teams in the SMJFL and has a large Auskick program with 200+ participants.
The Seniors will compete in the VAFA Premier C competition in 2026, playing home games at the club’s primary home ground at Boss James Reserve in Hampton, which recently received a $3.4 million redevelopment.
Expectations for the successful candidate include:
- Minimum of a Level 1 AFL Coaching Accreditation
- Exceptional communication skills and positive attitude
- Previous coaching experience and an understanding of amateur football
- Willingness to develop and engage players across teams
- Work collaboratively with key club officials
- The ability to shape a strong coaching group
A competitive remuneration will be offered in respect of the role.
