Hampton Rovers Football Club will host its annual Mother’s Luncheon at this Saturday’s home game against Old Geelong at Boss James Reserve.
Due to the seniors not playing at home on the Mother’s Day weekend, this year’s luncheon has been pushed back by a week – still, we expect a bumper attendance in what is traditionally the largest home game luncheon of the year.
Women’s footy has taken off at the Rovers and our special guests on the day are the players from our Senior Women’s team. Hear from a few of the girls about their football experience thus far.
We invite everyone along for what is always a great day, but also extend a special invitation to all the mum’s associated with the club. The luncheon commences at 12:30pm with the bar open from midday.
Either get a table together or book individually and we’ll put you on a suitable table. The cost is just $30 per head and includes a quality lunch with drinks available at bar prices. A special price has been offered for players – just $20 per head.
To reserve your spot, please email Gary Nash on gnash@jte.com.au or text/call 0407 313 054. Payment is made on the day (cash or eftpos) or can be used as part of your club membership. Pre-payment is also available online here.
On the field Saturday, the Seniors kick-off at 2pm with the Reserves at 11:40am against Old Geelong – another side on two wins and three losses, in what’s a must-win game for the Rovers.
Under 19 (1) are away to Ormond at EE Gunn Reserve commencing at 9:20am and Under 19 (2) are away to Old Paradians, also at 9:20am, with a bus leaving early from Boss James Reserve.
The Women’s side take on Mazenod on Sunday. Due to ground availability, the match has been moved to Elsternwick Park Oval 2, commencing at 11:40am.
